I’m Natalia Kay (for short), I am 37 years old, a mom of two beautiful girls and a certified Nutritionist with a passion for clinical nutrition, complementary integrative preventive medicine (IPM) and an evidence-based approach.

I have completed a 2.5-year course in Nutrition along with a professional mentorship. However, my professional and academic development has not stopped since then. I am constantly expanding my knowledge by reading academic books and scientific articles, researching and following new developments in nutrition and nutrition-related medicine.

My favourite authors are Liz Lipski PhD CCN CHN, Elson M. Haas MD, John D. Kirschmann, Jason Fung MD, Dr Nadia Brito Pateguana ND, Derrick Longsdale MD, Phyllis A. Balch CNC,  Alan R. Gaby MD, Dr Joan Webster-Gandy RD, Dr Angela Madden, Prof Michelle Holdsworth, Dr Eric Berg DC, Justin Sonnenburg PhD, Shawn M Talbott PhD, Barry Sears PhD.

I have also dived deep into researching the topics of intuitive and mindful eating as well as emotional eating and eating disorders and my favourite authors on this topic are Kelly D. Brownell and John P. Foreyt, Bob Schwarz PhD, Joyce D. Nash PhD, Paul McKenna, psychotherapist Bronnikova Svetlana, psychotherapist Sarah Dosanjh CTA MSc, and Fadela Hilali.

Thanks to my academic background in law (I hold a Master's Degree), I developed advanced research and analytical skills as well as critical thinking, all of which allow me to select my sources carefully and conduct quality research.

My Health and Weight Loss Journey

I admit: I receive many compliments on my body and my physique and that I look younger than my age. However, I was not born nor always been slim and healthy. Far from it.

Surprisingly (or not?), the older I get, the healthier I become thanks to approaching my nutrition scientifically and choosing to prioritise my health above all else. On this day when I am 37, I feel like my health and body are way stronger and healthier than when I was 22.

I was very unhealthy both in my teenage years and in my early twenties when I started a job in a challenging corporate environment (I’m talking legal department at the investment bank in London). To start off, I was born with multiple allergies, and as a child, I suffered from chronic digestive disorders, infections and persistent respiratory illnesses. As I did not have any knowledge of what a healthy diet is made of, or what is a healthy mindset when it comes to food, I first encountered a problem of unexpected rapid weight gain and being bigger than I was comfortable with when I was a 15-year-old teenager.

Later, I developed a lengthy list of health concerns, some of which are: iron deficiency anaemia, IBS, gastritis (thank you chronic stress at work, poor diet and a hyped-up apple cider vinegar to cleanse my liver!), stomach acid problems, frequent bloating, food intolerances (though genes do play a role here), severe acne, body skin dryness, dermatitis, hair loss, frequent headaches, very low immunity, yeast infections, blood circulation problems, and to top it up I also had a long-term depression (as confirmed by a therapist) alternating with anxiety, sleeping problems, chronic fatigue, severe PMS (diagnosed with PMDD), missing periods and heavy menstruation. My weight constantly fluctuated, I was rarely happy about my body and it felt like I could never get to that sweet spot in my diet to control and maintain my weight. I tried so many diets and advice on the internet, all of which had failed me.

Although I first started reading books about nutrition when I was only 17, and despite that my diet was relatively healthy compared to how my peers and colleagues ate, only after having acquired solid academic knowledge did I realise that I had many flaws in my diet and that my diet was not serving my health goals and was making me sick. That’s a crucial difference between a laymen's understanding of “healthy” or “balanced” eating gathered from internet articles written to drive traffic to a website with ads and possibly some “pop-diet” books and a knowledge base of a certified and experienced professional.

You might think my medical history had stopped here. I wish so too! The cherry on the cake was when at the age of 25 I received a diagnosis of PCOS, which both devastated and horrified me at the same time but prompted me to make drastic changes in my lifestyle and diet and start scientific research, start an academic course in Nutrition, read books by doctors, and that all led to no less drastic improvement in my health and wellness. I am now a proud mom of 2, being PCOS-free for 8.5 years (as confirmed by periodic ultrasound scans) without any use of medication or hormonal therapy. I am not experiencing those life-draining health issues I had in my teenage years and in my twenties all due to learning to treat my body right, giving it love and care and nurturing it the right way. I am happy that my weight is now healthy and stable, it is not a point of stress and frustration for me anymore even after two pregnancies and not getting younger. I am also happy to have developed a healthy relationship with food and to have overcome emotional eating and food obsessions.

I feel that my journey was sent to me for a reason and eventually gave me a purpose in life - to help other people improve their health and finally lose unwanted weight and keep it off!

Luckily, you don’t have to go through the same lengthy and painful journey and do it on your own from scratch. I am here to save you tons of time and frustration and save you from mistakes, by straight away providing you with all rounded tailored strategy that works.

My Approach To Clients

My work style with people who asked for my help is always empathic and friendly and at the same time strongly motivating and encouraging. I will not make you feel bad about yourself or ashamed in any way. I am here to lift you up, be your source of knowledge and inspiration and to help resolve the health problems you no longer wish to tolerate and have fun along the way!

Secondly, I am a firm believer that your diet plan should be individually tailored. Always. We are all very different, with different biological features, so nutritional requirements to make it effective also differ. I had no two clients alike! That’s one of the reasons why the advice “just pick any diet from the internet and stick to it” will fail you! Based on your needs and profile I will work out a customised eating plan that is both nourishing, enjoyable and sustainable and will help your body function at its best.

I am a firm believer that any person should be approached as a whole, instead of working on isolated elements which never bring long-term results. Optimal health and lasting weight loss results come not only from healthy eating, but also call for improving your lifestyle (e.g. sleep, stress, exercise, rest, etc), as well as your beliefs, habits, and environment. These are all connected and interdependent.

I help people like you achieve wellness, get an irresistible body, and gain confidence and peace of mind as they finally get liberated from the battle against their own body or from being limited by how they feel.
